About Impex Auto Glass

The company behind the site

Impex Auto Glass belongs to the Impex family of companies, which also includes Impex Auto Sales, Impex Chevy, Impex GM and the Impex Heavy Metal Division. Impex Auto Sales is headquartered in Greensboro. On its own About page, Impex describes growing from one person to five technicians within a year, and says it now employs 36 team members.

Impex has two shops: 8748 W Market St, Greensboro, NC 27409, and 5641 David Cox Rd, Charlotte, NC 28269. It describes its reach as all of North Carolina, all of South Carolina and parts of Georgia, with mobile service throughout. Raleigh is served by that mobile service, so the technician and the glass come to you.

Impex states that it was named a Top 25 Auto Glass Retailer in the United States by AGRR Magazine, and its testimonials page calls it a 2025 AGRR Magazine Top Retailer Award winner.

Why a windshield site for Raleigh

Most glass questions from Raleigh drivers are about one pane: the windshield. It takes the stones on Capital Blvd and the Beltline, it carries the camera on newer cars, and it is the glass insurers ask the most about. So this site sticks to the windshield and goes into detail on each part of it, from rock chip repair in Raleigh NC to OEM windshield replacement in Raleigh.

One more thing to be clear about: there are other auto glass businesses in Raleigh with names close to ours, including one called Raleigh Auto Glass. Raleigh Windshield Auto Glass is not connected with any of them. It is Impex.

How Impex works

Impex states its mission as to ‘deliver accurate, transparent, and efficient auto glass service while minimizing downtime’. On its own site, it names the practices behind that:

• VIN-based verification, so the correct windshield is ordered for your exact vehicle.
• On-site ADAS calibration when required, so the camera behind a new windshield is calibrated as part of the job, with no separate dealership appointment.
• Fully inclusive quotes, with no hidden fees, upsells, delivery charges, fuel fees or disposal fees.
• Insurance help. Impex works with all major insurance providers and can handle the claim with your insurer.
• Fleet work. Impex focuses on fleets and stocks the glass common fleet vehicles use.
• Glass choice. OEM and high-quality aftermarket glass, with technicians who can recommend which suits your vehicle.
